At UAL we’re proud of our achievements. Last year we climbed to 19th in the People and Planet Green League making us one of only 30 Universities to be awarded First Class Honours, and one of the top 4 green universities in London.
On top of this we’ve also won:

- Two Green Apple Awards for our Sustainable Buildings, including our Wimbledon Studio.
- One Royal Institute of British Architects Sustainability Award
- One Soil Association Gold Award
- One Ethical Procurement Award from the Observer
- 2021 Public Service and Activism Webby Award for our Climate Emergency Interactive video
Our Environmental Management Systems (EMS) for both Business Operations and Learning, Teaching, and Research have been ISO14001 accredited, while our Energy Management System is ISO50001 accredited.
