
Vaccinations are now available in the UK for anyone aged 16 or over and UAL encourages all our staff and students to be vaccinated. Vaccinations are being offered free of charge at local sites run by GPs, community pharmacies, larger vaccination centres, walk-in sites and in some hospitals.
Booster vaccinations are now available for everyone over the age of 18.
All students, regardless of their nationality or immigration status, are eligible to be vaccinated.

There are several ways to book your vaccines.
For adults aged 18 or over
If you are registered with a GP in the UK, you can:
- Book your appointments on the National Booking Service website, at a location which is convenient to you.
- Wait to receive an invitation from your GP via text or email
- Contact 119 to book over the phone
- Find a walk-in vaccination site and receive your vaccine. You do not require an appointment at walk-in sites.
If you are not registered with a GP, you can:
- Register with a local GP to get an NHS number and access to the National Booking Service Website
- Contact a local GP and book your vaccine as an unregistered patient
- Find a walk-in vaccination site and receive your vaccine. You do not require an appointment at walk-in sites.
Booster vaccinations
Booster vaccinations are now available for everyone over the age of 18. You can receive your booster vaccination three months after your second vaccination.
- Bookings for booster vaccinations can be made via the NHS website or by calling 119.
For young adults aged 16 and 17
- You will be contacted by a local NHS services such as a GP surgery to book your vaccination appointments.
- Some walk-in vaccination sites are offering the vaccine to young people. You do not require an appointment at walk-in sites.
A few things to remember:
- Anyone aged 16 and over is entitled to the COVID-19 vaccination, regardless of nationality or immigration status.
- The vaccination is free.

COVID-19 testing
Getting tested for COVID-19 is still an important part of how we keep everyone safe at UAL and we strongly encourage all students to get tested twice weekly. More information on COVID-19 testing and reporting can be found on our COVID-19 testing page, including where to get your test.
