Your degree certificate and transcript prove that you completed your studies at UAL. They show what you’ve achieved to prospective employers and other officials.
As we are working offsite, our services have changed. Please check this guidance carefully.
Receiving your certificate 2021
If you completed your studies in summer 2021
Congratulations on completing your course!
If you completed your studies in June/July 2021, we have posted your certificate to you. We have sent your certificate to the address you provided on the UAL Portal.
If you haven't received your certificate yet, please wait until Monday 11 October 2021 (to allow for slow deliveries) and then contact us.
If you completed your studies between summer 2020 and March 2021
Replacement certificates (pre-2020)
We have temporarily suspended this service. For now, we are offering a free, PDF confirmation of your award.
If you studied at UAL after 2004, we can confirm:
- your name
- your date of birth
- your qualification title
- the date and level of your award.
If you studied at UAL before 2004, we can confirm:
- your award with the information we have, where possible.
Transcripts
If you completed your studies after 2018:
- we can email you your transcript.
If you studied with us between 2008 and 2017:
- we can send you a digital document with your marks and the grading structure
- we cannot print a hard copy or send it in the post to a third party.
If you studied with us before 2008:
- we'll tell you what we can issue. (This is because UAL courses became credit-rated at different times.)
- if we cannot issue a transcript, we will send you a confirmation letter.
Confirmation letters
We can send you a digital letter that will confirm:
- your name
- date of birth
- your qualification title
- the date and level of award.
